Turned some BWB purfling into BWBW so that it matches the rest. Tedious work but I don't want to buy anything more at this point. All I have is curly maple, but I'm this case I hope it doesn't show.

Working like a dog on my 4 day weekend.

Hundred year old plane weights. I should have done the back strip long ago but I wasn't happy with the fish glue line on the book match.

I never liked to use chisels but this build is forcing the issue. Lovin the chisel.

Thanks Beth, I have problems galore though. However, some things are looking better the second time around :)

I love how the aesthetics of your build are really coming together nicely Joey!

Thanks for the nice comments.

Unfortunately this build has ended in disaster. I was wet sanding with 600 grit getting ready to attach the neck when I went to dip the sandpaper in water and didn't realize the guitar had worked it's way partially off the work surface. When I let go it hit the cement floor, busting the top, sides and bindings. It's 100% toast this time. gaah  [headinwall]

I'm really sorry to hear that, Joey. For all the adventures that you had on this build, you really pulled it together, and made a beautiful guitar. I feel like crap when something like this happens after so much work. Hope you get back on the horse right away. [:Y:]

Thanks, it probably belonged in the bin anyway with all the mistakes it had. I won't make the same moving forward.

I am so sorry to hear about this! I'm afraid I would have to take to my bed with thumb in mouth for quite some time.
