Yes. I'm from Sweden.

IKEA has something called PASSARP, it's a material to line the bottom of drawers. It has some nice features, it's pretty hard and stiff, yet light, thin, soft and slick. Nice size for a guitar, too. The guitar on top of it will glide nicely. One other major advantage are the small ridges, the guitar will in fact only rest on a small portion of the surface.

I will use it when I happen to have a nice and shiny modern guitar in the shop, not to make a mark on the back when working on it.

My main bench protector IS in fact Yoga mats with natural rubber. They are great. I also use that material on many different cauls. This one will be used in the future for the fancy and shiny guitars though.

The material is also well suited for heavy electric guitars, they stick a bit too much to the rubber in the Yoga mat. With this, the guitar is easily moved around on top when working.

I can see where that mat you have would be useful in many situations. [:Y:]
