We had it out this morning repairing a little scratch in a guitar.

Thought you guys, Colin would like some pics.

This jig is probably the most copied professional headstock repair jig ever and we know of dozens of them that have been built like what Dave invented here.

Does anyone make these for sale?

No you have to craft your own as countless folks have done before. It's also an opportunity to improve on the jig with your own ideas.

We built and went to market with the world's best saddle mill and when all was said and done it was a $4,000 jig with a lifetime global market of 20 units. Not worth doing. It also had an opportunity cost of taking Dave or I away from our bench for 1 - 2 days to assemble it and that cost us around $1,500 in lost productivity or again opportunity costs.

So we make these things to make us money and up our repair game. Getting rich selling them is not likely and in our case with us turning away over 60% of the work that comes our way for bandwidth reasons it's a money loser.
