I got the Cedar Creek Case I ordered for my guitar. There were no standard cases to fit a guitar with a 14" lower bout. I'm pretty happy with it. Looks good, and fits well, as near as I can tell. Unfortunately, I can't see inside when it's closed. The lighting was not all that good in my den. This was, pretty much, a no frills version. Standard covering and insides. I did pay extra for the Nickel plated hardware, as it is more durable than the brass plated stuff.

It looks good, Waddy. So, did they just take one of their standard shells and custom fit the interior?

Pretty much, Todd. I got to choose the cover, the stitching, the interior fabric, etc, I just chose more standard stuff. I figured the old tolex type stuff would be pretty durable. Some of the other cover materials seemed like they might tear more easily. I picked black stitching because I don't like white shining out when everything else is black. They have an on-line form you can print out, and fill out and send in, along with a tracing of the body. But he told me that they would use a standard size case for a classical and just add padding and adjust the interior neck support, etc to fit the guitar exactly. It appears to be a perfect fit. I can't really tell exactly, but it looks like the perimeter of the top padding presses against the perimeter of the body of the guitar when closed. It doesn't just flop shut. You have to close it and latch it.

Waddy,

Curious to know if it arrived when promised.

It seemed like a long time, Pat, but I really didn't keep close track. He told me it would take a couple of months, and it did, for sure. If it was late, it wasn't more than a week or so. I do not know if subsequent orders for the same case would take as long or not. I did not ask about that.
