So sorry to hear of your woes, Stan.
But re-reading your post title, I was encouraged by the word "probably".
Which holds out at least the hope for a future return to what you love.
I hope so!

Steve

There is no such thing as a bad day of fishing! We'll be thinking of you Stan. I was always awed by your generosity.

Stan,

Sorry to hear you're having to throw in the towel. Since way back in the beginning during the days when I was a lurker I had respect and admiration for your character and wisdom. There is so much camaraderie here that ultimately I was no longer able to just lurk but eventually had to join the family. I also respect your former life as a fellow veteran and as a law enforcement officer (my Lovely Wife is a former sheriff's deputy of 9 years). Take care of your health sir and if you're willing and able, I think Lance's suggestion is a great one.

Stan,

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm pretty new to the forum, but have came across many of posts and found them very useful. I went to undergrad in Springfield at SMU (it was MSU at the time), and fell in love with fly fishing while there. The greatest fishing day of my life occurred in October at Taney when I landed a 22 in rainbow on a dry fly and 5x. I now live in Kansas City, but still enjoy fishing Taney and the White River when I can sneak away. I'll actually be down that way for a few days next month if your interested in wetting a line. Hang in there and do what makes you happy. Good luck and tight lines.

Aaron Craig
