I've been bending sides and gluing dentellones. I may become addicted to building tiny guitars after this :) Or at least, building ultra-lights. This one is looking to be about 900g when completed. Can't wait to hear how it sounds.

See build thread for full detail http://www.luthiersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10130&t=34382

Continued sorting and photographing wood to go up for sale as I downsize the shop.
It's amazing all the stuff you find tucked away after nearly 20 years (this time) of luthiery. wow7-eyes

Here is just one of the goodies coming up for sale soon:

I'm frustrating myself trying to get the finish on this L-00 that I'm building. You all know that game. Getting close to the end now. I'm trying a varnish finish.

I'm looking forward to string this up. I usually build nylon sting guitars, this one is for friends who come over and insist on thrashing away on them with picks. Oh, the horror! They'll have this to thrash on now.

Oddly enough, I also build almost exclusively nylon string instruments but had an acquaintance recently insist that I build him a steel string guitar. So, this is what I've been working on. These pics are a couple of weeks old. It's actually sealed, wash coat of shellac, and ready for pore fill now. Today, though, I'm removing the fingerboard-don't ask.
I'm using my classical plantilla and Jeffery Elliott's hybrid fan/X brace pattern. I'm also using Colin Symonds' neck joint.

I don't have any pictures to post..yet. But I am prepping a Gibson Gospel for a few top cracks that weren't repaired properly (by another tech). This will be a fun one for sure, poor guitar :( Couple of bone nut installs and a little work on my prototype to break it all up. Maybe even work on my D'Aquisto style archtop tailpiece I am making for some fun, depends on how slow the day goes. It is Friday so I expect the emergency gig repairs to hit the door any minute now...

William, that is really interesting. So many nice things going on I don't have time to list it all! (though the purfling scheme did catch my eye) Looking forward to hearing about the results.
