Larry, the body shape is what I call a Grand Auditorium. I suppose it could be like a 0000, but I am not very familiar with Martin shapes. What I mean about the bridge placement is, if I used this body with a 25" scale, the bridge would be closer to the waist. Because the baritone scale is 3" longer, the bridge must be placed approximately 1 1/2" lower on the body.

Thanks to everyone for your supportive comments. I went outside my comfort zone on this one, and I am very happy with the result.

So the shape is your own? Nice. Dimensions?

I edited my post above. I have no idea why I saw 28" as shorter than a standard 25" scale but there ya go - my brain can do some wonderful things I'm discovering. Yeah that 3" would certainly make a big difference in the sound.

Your wave does remind one of a Japanese wood block, and I would label yours a work of art also. There's always something to aspire to on this forum. Congratulations only a truly outstanding piece of work.

Larry, no, the shape is not mine. It's a Taylor outline except for the cutaway. I can't make a cutaway that tight.
