I like it too! On the perimeter I see perf and shell but no binding. Is that just the camera angle?

Pat, you're correct. I prefer to purf, but not bind. That way I get the elegance of shell, without the look of binding.

J/K. I glued the purf before the binding on this one. Just the way I like to do it.

ImageRather than start a new thread I figured I'd post this weekend's activities here. I made 5 molds and bending forms for my new/used LMI bending machine. Also a few more small jigs, templates and 30 backpacking alcohol stoves made from thicker aluminum beer bottles, and a bed frame for the bottom of my daughter's loft bed. Good weekend!

Zeke, we have several great day hikes here in northeast Georgia. My wife and I hiked the Georgia section of the AT last summer while our kids were at camp. The Smokies are a favorite destination of ours and we usually go through the park on our way to Cade's Cove, but we will have to go around the west side of the park to get there until they fix the landslide on Newfound Gap Road. We have not done the Roan Highlands section of the AT yet and I would like to check it out this summer.

Very cool! I'd love to get out and hike part of the AT one day. I'd actually live to do the whole thing but I don't foresee having that much time off work. If you ever want to get towards middle TN check out Savage Gulf. Great trails out there. And Virgin Falls is one of my favorite trails. It's out toward Sparta TN.
