You know... I'm a bit stunned by this. Not sure how to respond. Stuff like this usually has me at a loss for words (no, really!) but i think that it's important for people to not lose personal faith in their own powers and i just want to echo the comments here that you have a unique strength that shows through in your comments and thoughts. You always make me pause and think and i found that i often looked forward to your posts to start a new line of thought. The quiet was noticed. I do not want to miss that, so whatever energy you can pull from our thoughts and prayers, please do so liberally and kick butt. Looking forward to read about your next project.

Hi Beth,
I just noticed this thread. After reading through the various responses, I am sure you are aware of how much your presence and input has meant to all the members here at the OLF. You are going through a very difficult time and all we can do is tell you that you will be in our thoughts and prayers !!! I will be hoping and praying for a quick and complete recovery.

Hang in Beth, I hope you pull through. My wife has been going through treatment for a fairly difficult cancer over the past few years, and I know how endless a process it is and how hard it is to leave it aside even for a moment, even when the outlook is good. I hope you are with us for a long long time.
