Hi All I was wondering if you could help me out. I live in the UK and was looking for Fiber for bindings and soundholes as I'm finding it so hard to locate any.
(I have managed to find some but the guy thinks he's selling me BRW - well he ought to be as his prices are wow7-eyes crazy gaah - and that putting it mildly!) I was interested in the following colours:

Black
White
Red
Blue
Green
Any others you may have

I would also be interested in the following thickness's (sorry its metric, Brains not working today lol):

0.2mm
0.3mm
0.5mm
0.75mm
1.0mm
(the nearest imperial sizes you have to the above) Any others you may have

I'm looking for around 1 metre or slightly longer lengths, which would be fine. Widths I'm pretty flexible any width that would be ok for posting!

If you can help and either point me in the right direction or even deal direct then that would be great :D !

I know from the ANZLF [:Y:] that Shane deals with Fiber so I've sent him a PM!

I look forward to hearing from you
Best wishes :)
Dave

Hi Dave and welcome to the OLF! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap]

I am sure that someone who can help you with finding the fiber that you want will be along shortly.

Shane has the stuff in .020 .. which is about .5mm. Good for getting it quicker as its all in stock.

If you have some time, and really want all those thicknesses in all the colours (at least most thicknesses (in thou - 10,15,20, etc), and in larger quantity (ie 45-50 of each) .. go to the source - Gurian Instruments. But it wont be a cheap bill ... DAMHIKT ....

Thanks Howard - Shane was my first port of call! I was just hoping that maybe someone from the UK might know of somewhere a little closer to home! :D

Best wishes
Dave

Dave - Then you really want to go to Gurians for sheets .... they sell all those colours in the various thicknesses at 6 inches wide. Then you simply lam them up yourself as required.

They do have a 200 us minimum order though. Get a gross or two of bridge pins while you are at it ...
