I've been working on the set-up of this new 000-18 style I just finished. It's really taken way to long to get
the action and saddle intonation just right. Sometimes you hardly have to do anything, this one was a pain from the
start. I think I finally have it right, it really becomes fun to play when you hit that magic spot where everything works
together.
This one is a mahogany/Adirondack 000, I used the specs from the mid 30's so it's got a 1 3/4 nut with bridge spacing
of 2 3/8. It's not for small hands- not for everyone obviously but I like that feeling of space between the strings, fits
my clumsy style of playing. The mahogany had more figure than I realized before the finish was applied (nitro).

The world probably does not need another 000-18 copy but I wanted to see what I could do trying to reproduce that
30's Martin sunburst. It's close but not perfect my any means. We'll see how it breaks in.

Really nice Bruce! I love the mahogany B&S with the sunburst. I never have done a sunburst, makes me want to try one.
