Now that the grizzly tent sale has come and gone, let's see what all sorts of score people found. My snag of the sale was this 5hp shop fox table saw. It had a scratch in the pain and a cracked dust port. Originally around $1300. I got it for $650.

What sorts of finds did you guys run across?

Nice buy, Chris!

How was the sale? Did you have to line up early, fight your way to the item, plan ahead, etc??

Cheers
John

I'm hoping to hear that hand-to-hand combat was involved, after lining up and sleeping in the rain for days......

I lined up only an hour early. By the time I got there, the line was almost half way around the building. But there was one guy there that slept over nite and had driven to Missouri from Maryland.

I got a floor model 6"x48" belt/disk sander for $99 which was nice and timely since my Delta had just died. I just carried it into the shop a few minutes ago and plugged it in and it seems to run and track like brand new. Also picked up a 1 hp electric motor for $25. I was at the one in Bellingham, WA, got in line around 6:45am and when the gate opened at 8:00 I estimated about 200 people behind me in line and about 60-70 in front of me.
