The newest Luthier Tips du Jour instructional video is on Youtube. The topic is Spray Guns. Subtitles are available in both English and Portuguese and you can translate them into any other language by using the CC option on Youtube.
As always, comments and discussion are welcome.
Enjoy!

Another good video, thanks Robbie. I'm curious, the louvered wall behind the guitar you are spraying - is that all ventillation?

Sorry Robbie, I'm still not getting it. The whole wall is part of the ventallation? Let me re-phrase the question. Where is the exhaust in your spray booth and how large is the exhaust opening?

Thanks,
Pat

Yes, the whole wall is part of the ventilation system. What you are seeing are the filters. There is a large fan that is in the chimney that pulls the fumes out and vents through the roof.

Hi Robbie

Your videos and voice overs are becoming very professional I hope we don't loose you the Hollywood.

Keep these cool videos coming, though I think you have just about covered the whole guitar building process already.

Fred

Wow!! Thank you Fred. It really has been a long learning curve.
I haven't done the complete build process just yet, close though. I have a bunch more footage in the on deck circle that one day I hope to convert in to more Tips du Jour videos.
Happy Building! [:Y:]
