A simple question here. What are the ballpark dimensions of your X-brace caps? The last guitar used cloth, and this time I'd like to use a wood cap. The one I have glued on right now has excess material so I can work it down appropriately.

Mine are very thin like Todd's. You can take them down to almost nothing and it still does the job.
