hey all. i've made a few lap steel acoustics, and have been noticing i get some string buzzing that is annoying me,
the buzz is in the sixth string, only when using the tone bar.
played open, strong and pure, not a hint of a buzz.
anyway, my saddle is rounded over, so the strings ride in the center, and i nick the back side with nut files so they stay in place.
is that the right way? i might try to bevel the saddle so the strings ride closer to the leading edge.
the buzz might be a phenomenon with the tone bar.
