I am working on an archtop electric and I will be using a rosewood fingerboard. I would like to use rosewood for the tailpiece as well as the pick up rings, but all I see on Stewmac and Lmii is ebony tailpiece blanks. I thought about using a fingerboard blank but at around 5/16ths thick and only 2 1/2 wide I would have to laminate to get something useable I would much rather start with a solid block for this. I am around 45 mins from any hardwood suppliers, though I'm sure if I made the trip I would find what I am looking for but does anyone know of a site I could obtain some rosewood around 5 x 3 1/2 x 1/2?

thanks, Mike

Try http://www.gilmerwood.com/ they seem to have a little bit of everything. Nice folks to deal with.
