For you ME types.
Hide glue, fish glue, all the elmer's type PVA's and aliphatic resin emulsions wood glues all say not for structural applications. My question is, what constitutes a structural application? Aren't guitars structures?

I suspect lawyers had them put it that in there and that structures in that context means anyting that might support people houses, bridges, gazebos, decks, stairs etc.

Aliphatic resin glues are not moisture or heat resistant enough to be used in construction of structures (like houses).

They are, hovever, plenty strong enough to be used for structural appliactions where they will not be exposed to harsh environments (guitars).

Ah, so the PVA's and aliphatics are appropriate for guitars but not house exteriors. Makes sense. Thanx!
