For those into pickguards, some folks are not,Stew-Mac sells a product called Tortoloid manufactured by one of our own. Have just used this recently to make four guards and must say it is fantastic material. It softens in warm water and cuts very nicely with scissors. Lay on a flat surface till it cools and sand edges and then scrape a bevel. Very easy to sand and scrape the edge. The easiest to use pickguard material I've ever experienced. Thanks to Grumpy again.

Hey Tom,

Do you just use the adhesive sheets that SM sells? I'd like to give his product a try myself. It looks great.

Cheers,
Danny

If it is a Grumpy product you can bet it is a good one. Might just give it a try.
