Hey all. I'm building a 15-fret baritone, that, as designed, is 43.48" in overall length. According to Nancy at Ameritage, the interior OL of their jumbo case is 44". She said she would confirm with engineering that mine would fit, and get back with me. Nancy's pretty good to work with, but typically takes longer than I'd like to follow up. I'm hoping someone might have one on hand they could measure for me, so I can go ahead and move forward with neck construction. I'm ready to drill tuner holes, but first need to know there's a stock case out there that will fit. I have to deliver the instrument at the end of June, so I can't afford to dilly dally. Well, I did get an answer from Nancy, so for future reference, she said the actual overall interior length is 45 1/2", with 1/2" of foam and 1/2" of plush, so it's got 44.5" clear, not to mention some compression would allow a little more room.
