Can anyone recommend any good guitar stores where they sell handmade guitars in Portland Oregon?

Thanks

I don't know of any shop that specializes in hand made guitars, although there was a shop that specialized in high end classical's out on Mcgloughlin just south of Milwaukie, but I'm not sure if they moved or just went under. I just did a quick google search and there are certainly several builders in town but it's likely you'd have to contact them individually. I know Apple music carries Breedlove guitars but I'm not sure about anything more unique. Most of the guitar shops in town have been getting smaller and smaller, some have even gone out of business. I just read Pioneer Music's owners retired, Showcase is half the size it used to be, guitar crazy is retooling or something. I think the Guitar Centers and internet have taken their toll on the small shops around town...

there may be some smaller shops that I'm not aware of, I certainly haven't been to every one in town. It's just none jump right out at me. Full disclosure though, I haven't spent a ton of time in guitar shops in the last ten years. Pretty much just go in to pick up new strings and picks...

The closest one to selling customs was Pioneer Music, but they folded up a few months ago. Portland Music Co has a store on Broadway that handles all their acoustics, but it's pretty mainstream in there. Seattle is 3 hrs to the north. Dusty Strings is there.
Enjoy P'town and don't forget to try the beer.
