I haven't been posting much for some time because I've been super busy with non-guitar issues...and not of a negative kind. I just moved from Indiana to Napa, CA with Sandra, my best friend and soulmate. We recently moved into our new home in North Napa adjoining Wine Country and simply love the people, climate and magic of the valley. I still have all of the shop to move so I hope to be back in business sometime in September.

For those who have corresponded with me on my old kconline email address, that has changed to jjdonohue88 at hotmail dot com. Otherwise, I can always be reached at JJ at DonohueGuitars dot com. I'm looking forward to seeing my old CA friends like John How and Hank Mauel and meeting the forum friends I haven't yet met in person. I'm less than an hour from Healdsburg so I'll be looking forward to that event in 2013.

The OLF has always been a special place for me since its inception so I hope to renew my involvement in the community again soon.

Best wishes to all...JJ

That's it! You are officially removed from the Hoosier Luthiers Guild although, you were the only member so I guess the guild is closed! laughing6-hehe

Seriously, I would give anything to get away from the armpit of the US (northern Indiana) and enjoy the wonderful climate that you will now partake in. I'm happy to hear that life has taken such a wonderful turn for you. [:Y:]

Thanks, Doc...The luthier community doesn't need another pony tail...but it certainly is a much different world here. I'm diggin it so far!

Congratulations, JJ. We in the Midwest will miss you plenty. I still haven't thanked you properly for all of the work you did with Joe creating the perfect vintage tints - which I used happily on my last OM.

Big hug to you, man.

JJ, I'm just glad to see you post again.
And to hear that you'll be at Healdsburg next year...sweet.
Hopefully we can meet up there.

Steve
