In a previous tread the use of carbon fiber in bracing was discussed. I am going ahead with my plan to try it out but would like to ask a question first.

What material do you use and where do you get it?

I do recall Grumpy said he felt .022 was the best thickness to use. Where you buy it?
Is this the product I should try? https://www.acpsales.com/.022-Thick-Uni ... nates.html

Thanks for your help.

Some hobby stores carry it for model airplane building. Mostly smaller sizes, but I have found .125x.500, and some cf tube for struts. As stated though, Allred is an excellent source.

Used to get mine from Luthiers Mercantile, but they were higher than a cat's back.

I looked at Dragon plate but wasn't really able to find a product that had a matt finish on both sides. I probably just missed it.
