Less than an inch there are also holes along one of the ends of the other side, but they can be avoided easily. I think it was previously a headboard. Someone actually painted over the wood as well.....sickening eh?

Is that really Honduran? End grain looks like Sapele. Nice either way.

That's what they told me. Next to sapele it's much lighter in color.
