For the next few weeks Matthias Wandel of http://woodgears.ca/ fame will be building a ukulele. I will be building one at the same time and the idea behind the series is to compare approaches and results. Matthias has no experience at this but, if you've been to his site, you must know that he's a pretty clever fellow. Having already seen much of what he's done, I can tell you that some of the things he comes up with are well worth a look.

Thanks for doing this. Should be fun to watch. Hoping he offers an unconventional nugget or two that improve my process. So far I won't be using his bending or resaw methods
