Here are the latest pieces of wood I have acquired! I cannot wait to use them! Even though I am only working on my first build I have already planned out to the fifth build! lol
These are the backs and sides for numbers four and five.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost of that blackwood?

Nice sets from two of our sponsors. I have a sister to that blackwood set. Nice stuff!

It is from Colonial Tonewoods and I paid $175 for it.

I have worked with Cocobolo before just not for guitars. The Cocobolo is from Hibdon Hardwoods and the Blackwood is from Colonial Tonewoods.

Charlie, I was asking because I have roughly ten sets like it that just came off my bandsaw, and I'm about to put them up for sale. Looks just like that stuff. I even have some that has some really incredible figure too that I'm going to let loose of. I'm selling off 98% of my wood and getting out of the guitar game until I retire. It's too much of a distraction for me from more important things.

Hey Don - you've got my attention. I'll watch for the sets. I understand what you mean about the distraction!

Hey Don, you also have my attention. I'd be interested once you decide when and what you are going to let go of these items.

Distraction? What distraction? I just don't get any guitars built. Luckily I'm able to keep WAS in check, although Don could certainly tempt me.
