I just received this new blend for instruments.
It can be wiped on or sprayed.
I will be spraying over their Furniture finish .
And using it as a stand alone finish.

I'll post my experiences with it soon!
If it's at all like the other finishes they make we have a winner on our hands!

It states on the label that it is " Outstanding scratch & mar resistant"

Hey-Green is good!
Mike

The quart of gloss furniture finish I had is pretty much gone and I've been generally happy with the results. I suppose I'll try some of the luthier blend next. Look forward to hearing what you think.

Thanks for the update Mike. I assume it can be brushed as well? Very interested in your experience.

I'm assuming that the luthiers blend will be esoteric enough that it won't be stocked at the usual carriers of their products. Can you order it direct?

I didn't find the luthier's blend on the website. Did you just email them or is there a link?

Must not be up on the site yet, send an email to Dan, he's been very helpful to me: dmackay@vermontnaturalcoatings.com

It seems Dan no longer works there. My email was answered by Lenore (lrenaud@vermontnaturalcoatings.com).

It is possible to order from their web site (or any retailer) by ordering "Heirloom Wipe-On PolyWhey" and specifying the 'Luthier blend' in the comment section of your order.

Interesting - I had emailed Dan and he usually was very quick to reply so was wondering why I hadn't heard from him. I'm sure I'll get an answer in due time.
