Worst "repair" I ever had to fix...

Some airman broke the peghead on his Warwick bass - it was hanging on by the peghead veneer.
Another airman covered the break using a hot glue gun, and then crushed it while clamping it up in a vise.

Took me a week to get all that crap and splinters dug out so I could reglue with Titebond.
Added screws just in case, and hid it all under some colored CA textured to look like woodgrain.
Touched up the oil finish - good to go.

I saw that turnbuckle "repair" quite some time ago on the net somewhere....I and marveled.

The once backwards tuners are priceless.
