For those who might be interested in making accurate replicas of two of the earliest Martin guitar types (1834 Austro German "Stauffer" and Spanish Cadiz Style C.1840) Stewart MacDonald now has these full size plans available.
These are expanded versions of the drawings (by Don Macrostie) which were generated for use in the new "Inventing the American Guitar" companion volume.

These are very accurate construction quality drawings which were meticulously researched by Don and the very first to document these two earliest forms of the Martin guitar and should be of great interest to those interested in the instruments of the first half of the 19th century.
