If you have a chance you should check out the Spring 2014 issue of GAL's American Lutherie Journal. It contains a nice article on Robbie O'Brien. What an interesting life! It's worthwhile to learn about one of the most generous and knowledgable luthiers around.

It's a good issue - Robbie's interview, plus a good article on Antonio Marin Montero in Granada.

Antonio's shop is at the top of the hill where Calle Molinos starts and leads into Realejo - I walked by there several times a day for a couple of months in 2012. I never would have thought that you could smell a shop full of Spanish Cedar and Brazilian Rosewood from across the street, but it is so.
