I've noticed my 10-20 is making more noise especially as it coast down (the drum). It makes a squawking noise that is rpm dependent, but is quieter at speed and gets noisier until it coast to a stop on shut down. I "think" it is the bearing. Has anyone had to replace the drum bearing? And if you have is it as simple as removing the two bolts and circlip and sliding it off? Thanks for any help!

Never could find anything wrong with the sander. Although the coupler screws were tight, I wound up removing them, rotating the drum a few times and re tightening. I don't know if it will prove to be a permanent fix, but that took away 95 percent of the noise.

I also have a 10-20 and have not had any problems but thanks for sharing, I've learned a few things to keep in mind.
