I recently purchased a used Grizzly G0527 18" Widebelt sander. I am trouble shooting a problem with the belt controller electronics and looking for someone else with the same machine that is 2011 or newer. Anyone out there have the same machine that I can get a few pictures of?

Mine is a little older than that, but maybe I can help? I have had good luck resolving issues with their tech support if you haven't tried that already.

I called Tech Support and they are little confused. They sent me the wrong part and don't show an electrical revision on the machine. I have pictures of a 2007 and it is a little different than mine (electrically). Do you know the age of your machine?

Brad, I know that several folks with these have had issues with optical sensors getting blocked by sawdust. Not sure what your problem is, but this could contribute to what you might think are electrical issues...

Thanks Don...I am aware of the issue with dust collecting on the photoelectric eye that allows the paper to track. My sander has a modification that blows a little bit of compressed air on the sensor to keep it from getting too dusty. I am looking for information related to the electronic controller that connects to the photoelectric eye.

Thanks!

I purchased mine in late 2006 or early 2007.
