I've bought a number of sets from Allied over the years. You can usually see a good selection on the weekly specials page. It is a very easy wood to work and it looks pretty cool when it is finished. It's been a big hit with my customers.

My 13 year old son loves monkeys. I asked if he'd like a monkey pod guitar and you can guess how that turned out. But while I'm at it, gonna make a few more. I'm really interested in figure. Some on line pics I've seen were stunning. So, I'm looking for someone who specializes in monkey pod like Hibdon specializes in coco and African black wood.
