I want to reinforce (Harden ?) some hardwood veneers to saw my logo (1.2" x .7"), for my headstock.
I tried gluing it today on to a backing piece of laminate impregnated craft paper but it still broke when working on it.
I am wondering about saturating it with super glue or epoxy. Any ideas
MM

1/64" birch ply. I'm using some as a backer for a spalted maple rosette. I bought it at Michael's craft store, but I'm sure any craft store will sell it.

Try LMI's fiber. You can get it in .010, .015, .020, .030 thicknesses. Very tough stuff. We use it all the time.
