Can anyone offer insight into the effects of sound port size on a Hauser inspired classical guitar? I have a guitar under construction with two sound ports near the heel that are 15 mm in diameter. The first mode resonance moves up ~5 hz with the ports open.

Is this typical? What's the effect of making these ports bigger? Blocking one port does seem to have less impact than having both open.
