A lot of you remember when I started the OLF, my oldest daughter Leanna was 5. We would sit together and look at the pretty guitars that were being posted here.
Yesterday we visited Grand Valley State University where she committeed to attending this fall.
She will be getting her major in Bio Medical Sciences. That is at least the plan for now.
She loved the campus, the dorms and just about every person we interacted with.

I thought this would be a neat dateline to note.
Thanks for letting me share.

That's wonderful, Lance. I remember that day well. So many mixed emotions. Congratulations to your daughter, you and your wife for jobs well done!

I also remember a couple of years after you started the OLF when you would explain to folks that the standard that you wanted to maintain for OLF behavior was that you could have your 7 year old daughter look at the forum. :)

Does this mean we can be jerks now? Kidding of course.

Congrats to Leanna and her Mom and Pop!

Kind of bitter sweet isn't it Lance? It seems that from here on out we really start to realize as a dad how quickly it all goes. Congrats to Leanne on the next stage of her exciting life. She should be very proud of the choices she has made to have such a bright future ahead of her.

Indeed, it seems to move faster every day. I know that sounds cliche, but its the truth.
I still have my little one who is in the middle of her Freshman year at High school. But I know,
a quick blink and we'll be searching for a college for her.

No doubt about the fact that she is a Kragenbrink. Some fun years ahead for her. I'd re-live college like groundhog day if I could.
Congrats Lance!
