I look forward to Lee Valley's new tool offering every April, and this one didn't disappoint.

With the level of control and precision that we guitar builders/luthiers desire, nay demand, Lee Valley has delivered. The optional router table is guaranteed flat to within .002 smoots over its length for crying out loud! Even NASA can't achieve that kind of precision.

Roby 50 already posted yesterday.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

I love it. I think I need one of those. I especially want the leather belt drive attachment. I think it would be a good addition to my shop.

That was posted April 1. Right?

Love the flex shaft, and the extra person needed to operate it.

Finally, a wireless router you don't need to password protect!
