This is just an FYI for any of you who have a SantaFe Dehumidifier. I have a Compact 2, and like it a lot. It works very well, under pretty bad conditions (unsealed floors, walls, windows, etc!), but the one thing that has really been bugging me has been the cost of filters. I finally decided to look for them elsewhere besides the place where I bought the equipment. The price for them there was about $20.00 to $22.00 apiece, depending on how you bought them. After a small search, I found MERV 8 filters the same size and construction from another source for about $7.50 each when buying 6, with free shipping. The source is http://filterbuy.com. They were quick, and shipping was free.

Thanks Waddy!

I have a SantaFe Compact 2 also and my filter is past due.

I have noticed that if I don't change the filter on a timely basis, I get leaking. Don't know why, but when I change it, it quits. I know they say 3 months for the inner filter, but I think more often in a shop with "dust"!

Go to the pleated filter section, and put in the 9x11x1 measurement for custom filter sizes. I got mine in about 5 days from order date.
