Here is my latest build. It is a small jumbo, featuring my first arm bevel, a florentine cutaway, and soundport. Finish is EM6000. It already sounds very nice. I'm pleased...

Beautiful. The heel of the neck is lovely, and the treatment around the cutaway is very nicely done. Did you spray or brush the EM6000? Walnut, right?

Thanks Ed. I sprayed the finish with my Fuji HVLP system. Zpoxy pore fill. The heel is some more of that walnut burl I used on the headplate, back strap, and rosette. BTW - The headplate was book matched. Please excuse the piece of paper towel stuck to the string end...

That cutaway shape is quite stylish and I like the energy in the curve. The Mayan walnut looks very similar to claro...how did you like working with it?

Thanks guys. Woodie, I had no trouble bending the mayan walnut. Although, I haven't tried bending a venetian cutaway, the SJ waist is pretty tight. This is the second time I've used MW. I'd definitely recommend using it.
