The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

You’re gonna have to give more detail than that if you want anyone to click the link. Right now it looks like hack spam.

Nice guitar playing, but I'm not sure you are hearing the acoustic qualities of the instrument before or after swiss cheesing it.

Aside from no A/B comparison, It’s so heavily processed, how would you be able to evaluate any change in tone at all?

Fun piece of music, though!

with high end recording equipment you can make things sound amazing. Listed to this with an open mind and you can hear all kinds of effects added on the sound track.
This is just a monetized listing to get clicks. With digital modeling you can make a tube sound like a banjo .
not impressed with the holes. Yes he is a great player but so was Estaban

Was it even A/B? All I saw was A, with the holes.

"Let's test how this added air flow affects the sound". No before and after, so no test whatsoever. And then there's all the effects layered onto the sound

The hole drilling is just a click bait BS stunt to get people to hear his music.

It’s tough out there trying to get your music heard amid the hordes trying to make it as musicians. Gotta respect the hustle, even if you don’t respect the drilling :D
