I'm just curios what your up to with a dozen custom heating blankets. I got mine at Watlow Electric here in town but it was a standard size they offered. At the time, you could just stop buy and buy stuff, but that was eons ago. I don't know if you can pop in anymore. They can probably make you whatever size you want though.

Keenovo will do custom sizes. I have a few of their uke blankets, they work fine.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

I'm a satisfied Keenovo customer as well. I'm using their blankets for repairs, so bridge- bridge plate- and fretboard- sized blankets. Never had one fail on me. Don't know who made LMII's, but they lasted way less than those Keenovos and cost waaaay more. Nothing against LMII, I'm just as crushed as anyone else by them closing shop, but my experience with their blankets has been less than stellar… for all I know, Keenovo might have been their supplier… so YMMV ;-)

I used to get blankets from Omega Engineering, but that was before dinosaurs evolved into chickens. Are they still around?

what do you want to do. Understand the set up fee for custom blankets may be prohibitive
