"G" Thang beta 1.0 has recently been released. Use of the tool is free for non-commercial and small-shop commercial use. Run it and find out more about it here:

For those using older releases of "G" Thang, the software is now a web application and can run on any machine with a mouse as a pointer device and on any operating system that can run a Chromium browser. Files (.gthang files) generated by older releases can be loaded by the new software. See the documentation about that (Help->Documentation). It has a bunch of new features, including much canned information about fretboard dimensions, fretwire, strings, action, etc. It provides information about string tension, compensation, and inharmonicity; body statistics; and will generate warnings about features of an instrument design which may be problematic.

This is a beta release. So far it has been quite robust. Reports of bugs encountered are much appreciated!
