Hey all, been a little while for me. I wrapped up a few guitars recently, here is the first one.

Back & Sides: Cuban Mahogany (from REDACTED on this forum, yeeears ago)
Top: Sitka Spruce
Binding: Flame Maple
Rosette (and trim): Spalted Tamarind
Neck: Honduran Mahogany
Fretboard & Bridge: Granadillo
Half-mandala: Ebony, B Walnut, maple
Tuners: Gotoh Luxury 1:21 ratio
Pickup: K&K Pure Mini

That spalted purfling is gorgeous! I can't tell, is it end grain or side grain? One of my maple trees dropped a big branch last week with lots of good spalted wood up to about 6" diameter, and I've been debating how to cut it up.

The purf is end grain. When it's like that, it snaps/breaks around the corners easier (like shell)
