It is with a very sad heart that I bring the news of my friend Kevin Gallagher's passing to OLF.

I have only minor details but was informed that Kevin passed away this morning with his family by his side.

It is too soon for any funeral or memorial arrangements to have been made - but I wanted the community to know the news.

I ache for Paula and the kids and what they will be going through in the months to come - and I hope we can find a way to support them in a multitude of ways.

Please keep your thought and comments to those that are honorable to his memory.

Thanks

Thanks Paul,
Very sad news indeed. I also echo your sentiment " please keep comments to those that are honorable to his memory"

Or they will be removed.

A sad day indeed ... never met or knew the man, but he was well known, and more importantly, well loved.

I know that we have all wished for, or prayed for, his well-being. He will be missed-I know he always was gracious toward me when I would PM some "newbie" questions. I will continue to offer prayers for those who were close to him and grieve more closely.

I'm very saddened by this news. I have always liked your avatar pic, Paul. It's a great example of the joy he shared.

Always sad when someone with a great deal of knowledge passes. I was just going through his post on making bridge pins a few weeks ago. Many have gained so much from him and could have probably learned so much more.
