Have any of you guys used Matt Eady in Athens Georgia for finishes. I saw his ad in the GAL journal.
Thanks
Terry

Haven't used him, but I've talked to him about his process. Nice guy, give him a call. And his prices are on par with other finishers I know of. I've been thinking about farming out future finishes, especially after moving to GA where conditions aren't always conducive to spraying outside like I was used to. Of course, in my case, he's right up the road from me so that's a big plus where I'm concerned.

He does have a good looking resume on his website.

Have you looked into Joe White? I've seen his finish and it's perfect. Many guys on the forum use him. Attention to detail is awesome. His top finishes are incredibly thin and the rest of the guitar is as good as it gets.

To be clear: having chatted with Joe, seeing his work and hearing the recommendations over the years, I would use him in a heartbeat. He was my first choice until I found a finisher right up the road from me. Local is good. Matt's finishes are nitro, as well, if you have a preference for one over the other.

Personally, if I was going to outsource the finish, I'd be happier with right up the road rather than boxing and shipping.

I was actually looking for a nitro finisher so that's why I was interested in Matt. Thanks guys.
