This is going to be an OM with a Manzer Wedge. I did an aggressive wedge because the future owner is not a big guy and when we spoke, he mentioned that larger guitars were uncomfortable. The difference between the bass and treble bouts is 1.5". I explained that it probably wont fit in a hard shell case, but he was cool with that. Plus, there are some really good soft cases out now with built in RH gauges and such, so it should be fine.
Also, the hieroglyphics are gone already. I started shaping the braces and the rough section that had the writing is gone. Now they look nice.
On a side note, the future owner will be playing this guitar at his sister's wedding in July, so I guess I need to get it finished on time for that!

Nice progress. Gotta say though, last one I did I put the center strip in last. Won't do it that way again, it was a PITA.

Agreed Steve. I got ahead of myself and now I need to cut up the strip I have to fit. Oh well. On top of this guitar, I'm about to start a big home renovation project. Two bathrooms and my whole second floor. Good times!

The home reno thing has really screwed up my shop time in the last 3 years. I'm almost done - all I have left is the kitchen and 2 bathrooms [uncle]

No worries then. As home renovations go, those are the two rooms that offer up the least amount of home disruption. . . Oh wait,. . .

How did you know I was removing a load bearing wall and replacing it with a header?

I have tried to tell my wife on many occasions, if she has asked me to do a job, I will do it. There is no need to remind me every six months!

I closed the box on this guitar. Sounds like a really nice thumpy thing.

Thats all for now.
Thanks for looking,
