For those of you who might remember me (ok, you all can look) here are some pics of my newest build. Going to a client in France.
IRW back, sides, binding, bridge
Lutz Spruce top (Steve Wheeler take note)
5 piece neck, mahogany and curly maple with ebony pins
Wenge bookmatched headplate and heel cap
Immaculate finish by Joe White

Enjoy

Looking fabulous Steve. Digging how the binding matches the B&S. That Lutz we got from Shane was a bargain at twice the price.

Beautiful! Very nice detail on the end of the fret board by the sound hole, I am always looking for different ways to approach that, and you did a wonderful job.

Thanks everyone. It means a lot coming from all of you artisans.

Phil, the "S" shape in the fretboard is for my first name and the "C" in the headstock is for my last name. Kinda stumbled into doing that a while ago.

Steve W, I still have some of that batch. You? Wanta get some more?

I'll be looking for more soon. Word on the street is that Shane is having some tough times with family illness and such. Patiently awaiting his return to production so I can place an order. If you need some soon, that Mario fella with the crazy marketing scheme (DeCosta?) has comparable quality and price on Lutz spruce.

So did you finish this one in less than a year? beehive laughing6-hehe

Steve

If you are going to order from Shane, I would be happy to go in with you, Steve. And, ummmm, no. They still take me a long, long time!! ;)

Hi, Doug! Long time! I still use your rosette method.

Jim, thanks for the kind words.
