A lot of interest of our Ancient Sitka peculated at NAMM with Richard Hoovers[Santa Cruz Guitars] 3000 Yr Sitka/8000 yr oak and Ruban Forslands[Joi Guitars] Slash's Guitar [Ancient Sitka/ Tree Mahogany] and "Long Dark" Ancient Sitka/ black ebony".
Look for guitar Magaizine articles from all over with the news.
High dollar builds for Happy customers, Happy Builders and happy me.
1 build was commision and 2 builds are speculation and sold. Hurray!
Also check out my freind and Customer Tom Bedell proudly displaying his Tonewood Cetification Project of all salvage sourced tonewood for all of thier Bedell and Weber line Instruments. I know Tom sold out 2 full cases of instruments by the second day of 4.

Here is what a guitar built with 3000 yr old Sitka and 8000 yr old oak sounds like.

Once again. STUPID CANADIAN $$$$. Haha One day my stash may run out. Hopefully the $ will turn around by then. [uncle]

Is that the natural colour of the spruce.
That guitar really appeals to me visually.

Yes it is. But not when it is first cut. It's saturated wet gold when cut and within 15 minutes has oxidized to the blue/grey. I wanted to load a pic, but still traveling and I am not able resize this pic on my IPad and it's to large of a file.
