Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my latest creation! This one is my "Grand Session" model and was made as a commemorative guitar for the 30A Songwriters Festival (A large Festival that I perform in every year).

This guitar features: A Port Orford Cedar Soundboard, Quilted Maple B&S, Flame Maple Neck, "Honey Bust" Nitro Lacquer Finish, and an LR Baggs Element VTC Pickup.

The Sea Turtle inlay was was designed and hand made from scratch and consists of 98 individual pieces.

Anyone with enough money can but beautiful wood but it takes a real craftsman to know what to do with it. Well done Chris. Anything you would have changed now that it's finished?

Very nice! I was wondering how that turtle would work on the guitar when you first showed it, but it works wonderfully well on this guitar!

Nice Chris! That wood looks familiar. What did you use for dye? That is a lot of extra work but it sure looks good against the white binding.

And I'm sure carving that volute in that nasty Curly Maple was no small feat.

That's a good looking guitar.
Tasteful inlay on the back, great job on the turtle and top of the line finish work. The figure in the b/s really pops under that finish.

Dang. Just. Dang.

Spectacular finish...

Love everything about this, except the heel, but that's only because I'm narrow-minded when it comes to heel shapes.

It's gorgeous top to bottom...

Bravo!

Love the color of the B+S, and the contrast to the binding
