I'd rather use a K&K pure mini myself. Avoid the issue.

Welcome to the forum, btw.

I've actually posted using my fathers account a few times, but thanks. I agree, and prefer the K&K, but I think a customer wants a UST. Have you experienced any feedback issues in a loud environment with the K&K?

Highlander. Saddle width is irrelevant.

I have used the KK Fantastick undersaddle with 3/16 saddles ... I simply route a 1/8 slot centred in the 3/16 slot ... works just fine.

What Tony said, but a little different. At the the recommendation of Larry Fishman, I rout the UST slot just a little behind the leading edge of the saddle slot, rather than centered. Larry's reasoning was that the pressure is going to be on the leading edge of the saddle and over the years this has proven to be the case, with dozens of guitars with UST's and wide saddles. I've done this with Fishman's, K&K's, B-Band's, D-Tar's, and Highlanders all with great success.
