http://www.amwoodinc.com/ and http://www.exotic-woods.com/index.html I'll be going to Exotic Woods on Saturday. I can check for you if you are looking for something specific.

Probably just one or two sets. It depends upon whether a potential client chooses to go that route.

You're in Vancouver, right?

I saw some coco at Windsor Plywood in Coquitlam. Sometimes they're good for wood, sometimes you can't find a single thing that will do.

It was a good time ... lots of good deals, discounts if you bought over 100/200 bucks ... and of course some great discussions/demos .. Thanks to Sergei Dejonge, Jeremy Nicks, Mike Smith (excellent stuff of how pickups are made - learned a bunch) and a bending demo by yours truly .. just got the bend finished before the whole area lost power !!!!

Tony,

Thanks for the demo, as I am just starting out it was nice to hear your comments and see your bending jig in action. I'm a visual learner so this was right up my alley.

Great .. I am pretty sure something fishy was happening with the voltage right before the power went out .. did you notice I was questioning whether it was 2 minutes or not on the heating up of the bender, as it didnt feel that hot to the touch - usually by then its scorching .. I took it home and fired it up to set the bend when I got home and the slats definitely got a lot hotter in my shop .... luckily it still bent fine !!!!
